Genesis 21:8-21
Read Genesis 21:8-21. The Bible is full of real humans with real human emotions and struggles. God sees Hagar in her plight and comforts her. She in turn gives God the name El Roi, which means “God who sees.” Spend some time reflecting and discussing this aspect of God’s character. He sees you, He knows you, and He cares about you.
