General Questions About Axis

Unfortunately, not at this time. We are currently reworking our live speaking event options to better serve your needs in 2023.

We strive to connect parents, pastors, teachers, guidance counselors, and caring adults to the teens in their lives through meaningful conversations. We do this by helping you engage in the ever-changing world of pop culture in hopes of helping your teen develop a Christian worldview and a lifelong faith in Jesus Christ.

Axis is a non-denominational ministry with a staff from a wide variety of Christian backgrounds. Our focus is on impacting students via culture translation through a spiritual lens. As a result, we do not hold to specific doctrinal or theological positions outside of a basic statement of faith as professed through the Apostle’s Creed.

Axis affirms the Apostle’s creed. Members of our staff represent a variety of Christian denominations. Although we don’t agree on everything, we are united around the abundant life offered to everyone through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. Our end desire is to cultivate a lifelong faith in caring adults and teens alike! We pray that we will all be deeper thinkers and more faithful followers of Jesus by humbly and curiously engaging with ideas that we may not at first agree with.

Yes. Every Friday, we send out the Culture Translator, a weekly run-down of the latest happenings in pop culture. To sign up for the Axis Culture Translator, please click here!

Yes. The Culture Translator Podcast is available on SpotifyApple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts!

We want students to examine what is at the very core of their being and ask, “What Axis do I revolve around?” “What is at the center of my life?”

Connecting Parents, Teens, & Jesus in a Disconnected World
We give parents and mentors hope by being your guide through culture into conversation around Jesus.

Axis was founded in 2007 as a traveling speaking group for students!

Axis was founded by David Eaton and Jeremiah Callihan, co-authors of Smartphone Sanity and Engaging Your Teens World.

Axis Resource Questions

Conversation Kits are video presentations that take a deep look at the BIG topics that kids are asking about. They speak the language of teens and utilize the mediums students love to get them thinking about what truly matters. A family membership currently gives you access to 25+ topics, with more coming out every few months.

Summits are our online conferences that have amazing lineups of Godly experts who care about teens and building lifelong faith in the next generation.

Talking about issues like smartphones, eating disorders, Snapchat, video games, and sexting with teens can be scary and complicated. But it doesn’t have to be! Parent Guides are PDFs that help you understand the things your teens face, how to have conversations about them, and how to biblically disciple your teens into lifelong faith through it all.
