Read Genesis 6. Noah lived in a world of extreme corruption and brokenness, to the point where God chose to wipe out that world (luckily, he promised not to do that again). Yet, Noah still lived in an upright and righteous way. Take encouragement in Noah’s consistency and strength in hard times. Noah was also human. If you continue reading in Genesis 9, you’ll see a man who needs God’s grace as much as you or me.
