- It’s not very common that God just hands people their purpose, so we need to understand what God has already said he desires in the Bible, and do our best to live in those ways.
- We need to trust God with the unknown future and do our best to live in a way that honors the words we do know come from God: the Bible.

Diving Deeper
Luke chapters 4 & 5
This will be a longer assignment, but read Luke 4 & 5. In these two chapters, we get the context of the verses we heard from James. Spend some time processing and praying for the Holy Spirit to reveal the intention and truth of the words of James. There are some hard truths in these two chapters, truths about wealth and generosity and peace, so, if you can, reach out to someone you trust and talk to them about the chapters!
