Spend time in prayer
Spend as much as time you need in prayer. Ask God to reveal the ways you may have slipped into trusting your own efforts and strivings. Pray that he would reignite your heart with a love of the Gospel and a humility to accept the work that Jesus did on the cross for you. Remember, Jesus died for your pride, your doubts, and all your sin. We didn’t deserve it, and we never can. What a beautiful truth!
