What is Love? Parenting in Murky Waters

Brotherhood. Sisterhood. Dating.

Is there anything more forsaken today than face to face, authentic friendship? How about mature dating? Two things teens yearn for above many others are shrouded in more complexity, confusion, and distance than ever before in history.

How can we help cast a vision for good relationships when culture tends to show the extremes of love and make even the painful ones attractive to us.

We'll look at 4 key ideas to creating a vision of good love, relationships, and what real vulnerability is for our teens.

4 Questions Teens Are Asking The Bible

1. What is it?
2. Where did it come from?
3. Hasn't it changed over time? (aka Why is it still reliable?)
4. How do I read sixty-six books in one?

The primary question here may be, "How do I know I can TRUST the Bible?"

At Axis we're all about apologetics and worldview but always through the framework of "culture translation" and discussion. The Bible should never be used to end conversations but, instead, to open them.

We're going to dive into how to open conversations about scripture from an informed standpoint with all varieties of teens.
