What does the name Axis mean?
We want students to examine what is at the very core of their being, and ask "What Axis do I revolve around?" "What is at the center of my life?"
What is the Axis mission statement?
Axis creatively educates hearts by questioning assumptions, interpreting media, and equipping communities to move from apathy to compassionate action.

Is Axis affiliated with any denomination?
Axis is a non-denominational ministry with a staff from a wide variety of Christian backgrounds. Our focus as a ministry is on the false ideas permeating our culture, and their impact on students. As a result, we as a ministry do not hold to specific doctrinal or theological positions outside of a basic statement of faith as professed through the Apostle's Creed.
Does Axis have a statement of faith?
Axis agrees with and holds to The Apostle's Creed as a doctrinal statement of faith
Events
How do I find out more about upcoming Axis events?
To see our list of upcoming event locations and dates click on the Axis Calendar page.
What do the presentations look like?
Each Axis presentation includes 50+ media clips allowing us to speak with students on their level. Our teams of four speakers each speak for 3-5 minutes at a time, and engage the students on deep issues using pop-culture as a medium. Each session lasts from an hour to an hour and 15 minutes.
What information do Axis presentations cover?
Currently we have two presentations. The first presentation is called the Grid, and covers the topics of worldview, Naturalism, Spiritualism, and Theism. For more information on the Grid please click here. The second presentation is called the THREADS, and covers topics such as Atheism, Islam, Evil, Doubt, and Christianity. For more information on the THREADS please click here.
Does Axis have a parent night?
Yes, at each venue we spend an hour and a half with parents discussing all of the different topics their students are learning during the sessions. In this session we help parents get caught up with pop-culture, and we show parents how we are preparing their students to stand firm in their faith as young adults.
What age groups does Axis speak to?
Axis targets students ages 13 – 25 for both the GRID and THREADS presentations. However, we also speak to adult Sunday school classes, in church services, as well as our Parent/Teacher night during an event.
What does an Axis event schedule look like?
Our event schedule changes with each venue. We've rarely done the same schedule at any two venues. Our preference is to do two hour long presentations each day for three days. We can do this in any way that works for the venue. Visit our booking page. for the content we'd like to present each day.
Does Axis have any promotional material to print out?
Yes, for access to promotional material click here or email us at connect@axisworldview.org. You can also call us at 888-719-AXIS.
What types of venues does Axis speak at?
We speak in lots of different venues including by not limited to retreat centers, church sanctuaries, school auditoriums, and more. The best venue is one that encourages interaction from the students, and allows us to build relationships with them outside of the presentations.
Why does Axis have teams, can't one person bring the same amount of content?
The average attention span for students is only 15 minutes. By having four different speakers, a change of voice keeps the students' attention. Although it's true that we could send one speaker to each venue to teach content, at Axis we want to build relationships with students. Four team members allows us to eat lunch, go to class and other activities with students attempting to get to know them on a personal level. A team allows us to bring an entire hour of content without the students getting bored or disconnecting.
How much does an Axis event cost?
Our speaking fee and team travel cost is combined into one nice flat rate. This flat rate changes depending on how many days you decide to host us, with the three day option being the optimal package.
To maximize our travel and reach more people we offer you some incentives:
-- If you are the first venue to host us in an area, we give you a 25% discount if you help us find one other venue in your area to host us during the same visit.
-- If you decide to host us while we're already in town, we give you an instant 25% off.
-- We offer $500 off if you get more than 50% of your parents to show up for a parent meeting during our visit.
Please email booking@axisworldview.org to receive a .pdf document that explains our pricing structure in detail.

Finance
Do you have any creative ways to fund an Axis event?
PTA groups and fundraisers tend to be the most common way to find creative financing. However, it is also possible to work with other schools, churches, or venues in the area to combine several little events into one large event. A large event shifts the cost onto several different organizations.
How much does it cost to reach one student?
$50 sponsors a student at one of our events.
Are there other ways to support Axis besides cash donations?
Yes, there are several options to support our ministry outside of purely cash donations. To see about donating a car click here. If you would like to request a list of material needs for the ministry please email: connect@axisworldview.org

Yes, Axis is a 501c3 non-profit. Gifts to Axis are tax-deductible.
How can I save money on an Axis event?
There are two ways to save money in booking an Axis event. The first and most effective way to save money is by helping us book an event in the same region as your venue. By speaking at other churches or schools in the area, travel costs will be split between all participating venues.
The second way to save money on an Axis event is by encouraging parents to attend the parent/teacher presentation which will take place for an hour and a half on the first or second night. If 50% or more of the parents show up, we will offer a discount to the venus hosting us.
Can I invest online?
Yes, if you would like to give a financial gift to Axis please click here.
Why do Axis employees have to raise their own support?
At this time, Axis is in the growth stage of the organizational life-cycle and venues ask us to come speak every year. Although we charge a speaking fee, the income from events is not enough to cover all Axis expenses, including salaries. As a result, Axis employees are currently full-time missionaries who fund-raise their full salary.
How does Axis financially support itself?
Although Axis does charge a speaking fee at events, the amount is not sufficient to cover employee salaries, supplies, equipment, and office space. As a result, we partner with people and organizations who share our passion for students and love for Truth. Not only does monthly support help cover our costs as an organization, but it frees us up to reach out to students with excellence. If you share our passion for students or love the Truth, please consider joining Axis as a vital part of our support team by clicking here.
